From the first time I was able to engage targets at 1000 yds+, I was hooked! The pursuit of precision and accuracy lead me to study all kinds of subject matter including - reloading, rifle building, and bullet construction. While on Spring Break in Florida with my daughter I was struck with an idea, one of those non-fatal, brain-lightning ideas. Why can’t I manipulate the mass distribution of long-for-caliber bullets and shoot them out of standard twist barrels? Rigorous research led me to the conclusion that this idea was novel. The physics made sense, the math worked out, and the live fire testing proved the thesis. The result was the creation of EAB and the first patent application of the company.
My background is in chemical engineering. After 18 yrs of Research and Technical Development in chemical plants, I decided to chart my own course and pursue ballistic research full time. My time in industry prepared me for the challenges and analysis required to bring new designs into the rapidly growing landscape of shooting sports.
